So, you have experienced the Laws of Thought (or Laws of the Universe, or Law of Attraction) working successfully before in your life on a small or inconsequential level, but now you are desiring to manifest something on a GRAND scale. That dream home, the perfect companion, the ultimate career. Are you nervous? Do you wonder whether it will work? Whether it will work for YOU? You have experienced success before, so why are you still wondering?
Because you are still human! So, how do you overcome this human-ness and move forward with your dream? The same way you did for the small or inconsequential goals, except I would add one more step here. Take a deep breath. In through the nose and out through the mouth. Repeat in your mind, “I AM worthy of this goal. I AM capable of this goal. I AM a good person.”
Now, follow the steps-
1. Write down your goal in detail and in the present tense, expressing gratitude for having received this goal or something better in your life. Something I like to add is, “easily and freely” (unless you want it to be hard and costly) and “for the best good of all involved.”
2. Submit your goal to God or the Universe. Someone once told me that they try to get themselves into a place of gratitude before submitting their goal. By doing this, you will invoke the emotion that gives it a stronger power of attraction. How do you put yourself into a place of gratitude? You focus on all the things that you are grateful for, either by expressing them out loud verbally or by writing them down. Do this for about 10 – 15 minutes. Then, submit your goal.
3. Now, you put yourself into a place to receive. Most call this part acting in faith. Preferably we feel completely at peace that what we have submitted will come about and then just go about our day. We just know that everything will work out, not dwelling on how.
Sometimes, though, we have a twinge of doubt. How do we overcome this doubt so that we don’t destroy the opportunity of success? Many people will put their goal statement on cards and post them all over their house, put it in their car, anywhere that they will see it many times throughout the day. Whenever they see a card they repeat it to themselves with feeling.
Some people will take 10-15 minutes in the morning and/or evening to repeat the process of putting themselves into a place of gratitude.
The most important thing to remember, however, is to act. If you feel prompted to do something, do it. If you have a thought, act on it. Don’t question or doubt, especially if it appears to be going in the opposite direction of your goal. Trust that your goal wants to find you–that it is attracted to you.
One of my favorite quotes is by Napolean Hill, “Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it will achieve!” Go ahead! Dream those big dreams and move forward with the same simple pattern you followed to achieve the little dreams. The Universe is organized and by following the simple steps outlined above, you will succeed!
