If you’ve set a goal and it feels impossible to achieve, don’t give up. You do NOT need to know exactly how it will all work out—you just need to see it done, feel it done, and then keep moving forward as though it’s already in motion.
You may not know how things will unfold next Tuesday, but there is something you can do today. Do what you can do today. Once you’ve set the vision and allowed yourself to feel it as though it’s already accomplished, shift your focus to the present. Make that phone call. Take that next step. Prepare for the success you expect to enjoy.
By the law of Cause and Effect, you don’t have to “go the distance” all at once. With every step you take in the right direction, the success you seek moves toward you as well. It meets you in the middle. Let this idea keep you moving forward.
So, if you intend to sell a widget, do you have the widget in hand, ready to sell? If you’re planning a business deal, do you know exactly what you’re bringing to the table and what you expect in return? Is it a vague idea, or have you put it in writing? Writing down your goal forces clarity, and clarity is what the world around you needs from you before it will respond with the help and opportunities you seek.
Do what you can do today to prepare for success. There will always be something that comes to mind—an action you can take. Stop ignoring those thoughts! Get up and do what that inner prompting tells you to do. That’s how you learn to recognize and follow your intuition.
Whether you call it gut instinct, inspiration, intuition, or your inner voice, it’s time to start paying attention and trusting that it’s guiding you toward exactly what you said you wanted.
And if you’re not feeling nudged one way or another, maybe it’s time to set a goal! No more vague wishful thinking. Identify at least one thing—big or small—that you are absolutely committed to achieving, no matter how long it takes. Decide on something that truly matters to you.
Once you’ve made a clear and unwavering decision about what you intend to accomplish, you can expect inspiration to follow. The nudge will come. And when it does—act on it.
