How to Pay for College without Going into Debt

You may or may not know this, but we now have FOUR children either in college, or heading to college soon, so how to pay for it is always in the forefront of our minds. We are teaching our kids to make it happen without student loans, believing there has to be creative ways to solve the problem, even if it takes a little longer to get through. The fact is, the idea of forking over tens (or hundreds) of thousands of dollars to universities (or having to borrow that much) makes ALL of our stomachs turn.

Paying for college can be overwhelming, especially when there really is no promise that the investment alone will guarantee your child’s successful future.

But last fall, I stumbled upon this free webinar training on how to secure scholarships for college.

We went from feeling stressed and uncertain to optimistic and encouraged. And, because the way we FEEL about our challenges has everything to do with how effective we will be at conquering them (#RareFaith!), this change of perspective was really good news for everyone in our family.

Since I first learned about the program, Jocelyn (the founder) and I have been talking about how this training could really help my readers, too.

She understands the struggle. She knew her parents couldn’t pay for college out of pocket because of the insane price tag (and she has a big family, too), so that’s when she set her mind to securing scholarships for college.

I don’t want to steal her thunder but her story is incredible. She was an average student – middle income level, with an average SAT score, and without saving the world with a million hours of community service.

Basically, she was a normal student, yet she still secured SIX FIGURES in scholarships!

And now, through The Scholarship System that she created from her experience, she has helped other families do the same.

So far, families that have worked with The Scholarship System have secured over $641,500 (and growing.)

The Scholarship System’s strategy and wisdom works for pretty much any student.  It is possible to secure scholarships for college even if your child has a less-than-perfect GPA, isn’t an Einstein or a Tim Tebow and your family isn’t low income (she actually covers that in her free webinar training which you can learn more about here.)  And The Scholarship System shares exactly how it’s done, step-by-step.

On top of that, she gives a ton of helpful information, and it’s completely free. If you want to join the next one, you can learn more about the free webinar here.

NOTE: She does have a paid version as well, to which you get a massive discount if you attend the webinar. Regardless, don’t miss the free training. It is eye-opening and will definitely be worth your time!

All my best,

Leslie

P.S. I really loved Jocelyn’s free webinar, 6 Steps to Quickly Secure Scholarship for College (and avoid student loan debt). If you want to learn where to find legitimate scholarships quickly, you can join her free webinar here. My kids really enjoyed the webinar as well. There’s hope!!
