Faith, Goals, and Your “Why”

Meet Marcianne Stewart, Mindset Mastery Honors Graduate. Marcianne was already a natural goal-setter with a passion for achieving big dreams before joining Rare Faith, but sometimes struggled with feelings of inferiority. However, her journey through the Mindset Mastery course showcases the transformative power of clear intentions and a strong connection with God. Through her experiences, Marcianne learned how to shift her mindset, overcome fears, and achieve her goals by staying focused on her “why” and trusting in the miracles that follow.

Manifesting the Small: A Drink for Mozzie

Marcianne’s Phase 1 experiment began with a seemingly small goal: to provide water for her dog, Mozzie, during a long walk in Arizona. While re-listening to The Jackrabbit Factor, she visualized water for Mozzie, but she wasn’t really focused on those feelings of gratitude. She wrote:

“After 3 miles I realized I needed to do a better job, so I felt thankful Mozzie got some water—and about 1-2 minutes later—There was a sprinkler going that was coming outside the fence. And where it was hitting—there was enough water for Mozzie to drink. Love learning and applying these laws!”

When Marcianne said, “I realized I needed to do a better job,” she was acknowledging the importance of being fully committed to her intentions. This kind of self-awareness is critical, because it emphasizes the need to not just go through the motions, but to fully engage with the process. Recognizing when we need to put in more effort or adjust our approach can be key to making meaningful progress. It encourages us to be honest with ourselves about where we can improve and motivates us to take the necessary steps to align our actions with our desired outcomes. By doing so, we increase our chances of success and personal growth. Well done, Marcianne!

Achieving the Big Goal: Earning for Facilitator Training

For her Phase 2 goal, Marcianne aimed to earn the money to pay for Facilitator Training, but she had not been earning very much income for a few months prior.

“I wasn’t sure that I could earn [enough] before payment was due. I leaned into connecting with God. And focused on what I could do. I kept seeing miracle after miracle.”

And she achieved her goal. She is wrapping up her Facilitator Training now and will soon be leading more classes of her own! Click here to find a class.

Did you notice how Marcianne wasn’t sure she could earn what she needed in time, but rather than focusing on those doubts, she chose to lean into her connection with God, focusing on what she could do? Keep an eye out, she will be sharing more about her experiences personally soon in her facilitated courses!

By choosing to lean into our connection with God, we can experience miracles through deepening our faith and trusting in His plan. Aligning with His will and seeking His guidance, we become more attuned to the ways He orchestrates events for our good–we experience the Unseen help that is always available to us.

This trust empowers us to move forward with confidence, knowing that as we take steps in faith, God is working behind the scenes to bring about extraordinary outcomes. Like Marcianne’s experience, by relying on God, miracles not only become possible, but inevitable.

Overcoming Fears and Embracing Confidence

Marcianne also faced and overcame fears throughout the course, particularly in social settings where she initially felt like an imposter.

“I went to a women’s entrepreneur group and on my way there at first recognized I was thinking inferior and imposter thoughts like ‘these women are more successful, I’m not going to fit in’ and I changed them to ‘I belong’ or ‘we’re all on our own journey and at different parts in our journey.’ I was able to attend, socialize and be confident in myself during that meeting.”

Turning thoughts of inferiority into positive affirmations involves recognizing negative self-talk and consciously replacing it with empowering statements. For example, shifting from “I don’t belong here” to “I belong, and I have value to offer” helps reframe your mindset. This practice builds confidence, encourages self-acceptance, and aligns your thoughts with the truth of your worth, enabling you to engage more fully and confidently in any situation. Marcianne’s experience illustrates how this shift can transform self-doubt into self-assurance. She stated:

“I’ve gotten so much better at recognizing my thoughts and changing them to reflect the story I want to be true—and understand that my original thoughts aren’t true.”

Breaking Through The Terror Barrier and a Message of Encouragement

A natural at pushing past comfort zones, Marcianne found herself breaking through barriers regularly, especially when she had a clear and compelling “why” driving her actions. In her words,

“I often do things outside my comfort zone—when I know WHY and it’s big enough.”

Knowing our “why”—the deeper reason or motivation behind our goals—gives us the drive to push through discomfort and face challenges head-on. When our “why” is strong and meaningful, it fuels our determination, making it easier to break through terror barriers. A compelling “why” provides the clarity and purpose needed to overcome fears and uncertainties, helping us stay focused on the bigger picture, our personal “jackrabbits,” rather than getting stuck in the momentary discomfort. Marcianne’s experience shows that when the reason behind her actions was clear and significant, she naturally found the courage to step outside her comfort zone and achieve her goals.

To those facing their fears, Marcianne offers this advice:

“Be kind to yourself. Focus on one action at a time, and really know your ‘why’—what’s motivating you to take action.

Reflections on Guided Mindset Mastery

Marcianne had a lot to say about her experience,

“I finished Guided Mindset Mastery! I loved learning about the different laws—and learning to focus on which law to help.

“I love the “ah-ha” moments when I realized I’ve broken myself against one of the laws in the past & how I can choose what law to focus on! I love choices! And understanding!

“I loved the small group format and hearing everyone’s insights and experiences and connecting! And I loved the workbook and assignments—and practicing inconsequential goals—which I use often now! It’s so fun to see it work! I am a natural goal setter and big goal achiever, and I love learning about setting & achieving goals. And I achieved my bite-size consequential goal of earning the $ to pay for facilitator training! I’m excited for that to start! I definitely recommend the Guided Mindset Mastery course!”

Marcianne’s journey through Mindset Mastery demonstrates the power of aligning thoughts, actions, and faith in achieving goals. From envisioning small miracles like finding water for her dog to earning money for facilitator training, she shows how a strong connection with God, a clear understanding of one’s “why,” and the ability to shift limiting thoughts can lead to extraordinary breakthroughs.

Marcianne’s story is an inspiring reminder that by staying connected to our faith and purpose, we can navigate challenges with confidence and achieve our dreams, no matter how big or small.

Excellent job, Marcianne, and thank you for sharing your journey with us!
