From a SAHM to a Six-Figure Income Earner

By Marcianne Stewart

From the time I was a little girl, throughout all of school, whenever we had lessons about, “What do we want to be when we get older,” I always answered, a stay-at-home mom (SAHM).  Even as I graduated as a Distinguished Scholar in High School, at our recognition ceremony, most people said, “Doctors and lawyers.”  I was the only person who said SAHM.

Fast forward about 20-years, I’m a SAHM to 4 (ages 16-10), and my husband needed a kidney transplant.  It was then I realized, I needed a back-up plan.  Just in case.  I jumped into a Direct Sales Company and found instant success—earning around $1500-$3000/month.  I earned the incentive trips, and decided then, that I wanted to earn a six-figure income.

The problem was, I was clueless how to take my business to the next level without burning myself out.  I hadn’t yet learned about Leslie Householder, The Success Laws, or the Mind Model.  No matter what I did, I kept hitting the wall.  Eventually, I did burn myself out, and due to the stress, developed an autoimmune disease.  My business completely fizzled, and the idea of rebuilding it was unappealing.

Then I attended Genius Bootcamp, and I learned about the Mind Model and the automatic programs running in our sub-conscious mind.  I realized my SAHM programming was strong, and kept winning out, causing self-sabotage.  Along with the SAHM programming, came programs such as:

  • While I worked, I neglected my kids.
  • God didn’t want me working.
  • I wasn’t worthy of earning 6-figures.
  • I can’t handle the stress of working.

After Genius Bootcamp, I worked on “Seeing my rabbit.”  I worked on being mindful of the programs that kept popping up in my subconscious and rejecting them.  As well as choosing what to replace them with, such as:

  • I am worthy of success in life and business. I am worthy of wealth.
  • I am thankful and overjoyed that I connect with my family.
  • Satan has my radio.  I am open that God wants me to earn the income as I use it for good.
  • I use tools to relax my stress-response system. I take short breaks to relax and reset.
  • I am healthy and fit. I have healthy habits.

Ten months later, I took Guided Mindset Mastery and learned about the Universal Success Principles, proper goal setting, and my long-term life’s purpose.  Learning about the laws and experimenting with them gave me the confidence to achieve my goals without burning myself out.

After the class, I realized I needed to get clearer about:

  • What was my actual “rabbit?”
  • What was my long-term life’s purpose?
  • Trusting God, the Laws & letting go of the “how.”

Earning a six-figure income wasn’t my “rabbit.”  My rabbit was: security, accomplishment, making a difference in others’ lives, and having the time flexibility to share my passion with others, as well as being the GOAT grandmother.

As I started following my passions, reading my long-term life’s purpose, and feeling my “rabbit” accomplished, the doors started opening.  Several in fact!  Thank goodness for my long-term life’s purpose, because it gave clarity on which doors to say “Yes” to and which were a definite no.  Life was still messy at times, and I learned quickly when choices had steered me in the wrong direction.  The blessings always came from those mistakes, teaching me where I still lacked.

I continued immersing myself in the Rare Faith Community.  I trusted and worked with the Laws more frequently than breaking myself against them!  I connected with like-minded people.  I learned from mentors.  I became a mentor.  My return on investments increased.  And now, I look back, not only did I end up earning a six-figure income, I earned a residual six-figure income!  As Leslie Housholder said, “We get what we want, or something better!”  The better always came when I let go of the “how” and trusted God knew what was best for me.
