The last time we talked, I had just started a landscaping business with my adult children. It went great, lasted a summer and blessed all of our lives. Then, because it was seasonal, when the fall arrived they all got different jobs, and by the following spring, we decided to sell the business and move on. So it was great for a literal and figurative season, then we let it go in pursuit of "something better."

Which brings me to this past week when I hit PUBLISH on "Just What You Needed," the first book in what will eventually be a #Listen to Lisa series. THIS is the something better!

I have dreamed of being an author since I was a young girl and stapled a few sheets of white paper together, but it wasn't until I internalized your teachings that it actually came to fruition. I have asked largely, bounced a thousand negative subliminal messages off of the imaginary line in my brain, and am working hand in hand with God.

Over the last year, my cousin and I met online every week to discuss the Mindset Mastery principles and we'll be going through all of your books beginning in January. We have found we need constant reminders to bring about miracles in our lives, and your books and teachings are the catalyst for exactly that.

I also wanted you to know that I mentioned your organization in my book. I hope it intrigues my readers so they look up Rare Faith and seek higher and better ways.

So thank you. Or should I say thank you again. Because we tend to front load our lives, and resign ourselves to the idea that the best and most expansive days are over by the time we hit middle age.

But they aren't.

And you are a big reason that I'm sitting here tonight, watching my book rise in rank on Amazon.

Bless you for being a guide, not a gatekeeper. You were just what I needed.
