Keeping Dreams Alive–The Law of Perpetual Transmutation

By Angi Bair

God created the world, first in his mind and then in physical form. Everything is first created in our minds (spiritual realm) and then it comes to form in the physical realm. Our thoughts and ideas are seeds of things we want to create. Once we have a thought, it can come into the physical realm if we hold onto it and nourish it with our feelings.

The Law of Transmutation states that everything, every object, every circumstance is constantly developing into form or dissipating out of form. Think of the cycle of water. It starts as vapor, which can form clouds, then rain/water, and then ice. The form can reverse from ice back to water back to vapor. It can stop in any of the process along the way or reverse depending on the elements.

The same is true with our thoughts and dreams. In order for our dreams and thoughts to become reality we have to hold on to them and keep nourishing them until they become real in the physical world. Let’s say you have a goal of something you really want, but maybe you can’t afford it, or maybe you don’t know how you will ever be able to get it. If you hold on to that thought and dream long enough the universe will work towards making it a reality. Maybe someone will be giving away just the thing you are looking for. Maybe you will find it in a store on clearance. Or maybe it will be left on your doorstep. There are many ways for you to achieve your dream. If you decide to listen to your doubts that you won’t achieve it, then the process will reverse and your dream will start to dissipate just like ice turning back in to water.

Wallace Wattles in “The Science of Getting Rich” states, “There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe.” This thinking stuff is what creates our physical world. Have you ever had a time where you thought of something and it showed up? This can be easy to do with simple ideas and becomes more complicated with things we believe are bigger and harder to achieve. The concept is the same. Think of what you want. Feel good about it. Hold on to the dream. Watch it appear in reality.

By law everything is either coming or going out of form. Recognizing this law helps us keep our dreams alive and keep looking forward to achieving our goals. Our success lies in holding on throughout the process to allow our dreams to come to form.
