I have changed so much within myself since starting the Guided Mindset Mastery class. This is our final week of class and the last day of November 2023. I am still so humbled by how easy it can be to attract the things we need—a concept I never fully appreciated before. Now, I’m a firm believer that a good thought, a good idea, is never impossible. I’m no longer afraid to dream about what I want for myself and for my family.

About a month ago, I had a thought—a mental seed: I’d really like to get a wheelchair ramp for my daughter Lizzy. It would make it so much easier and safer to get her in and out of the house. I tucked that little thought away, occasionally giving it some sun and water as I envisioned how happy Lizzy would be with a safer way to move in and out of the house. I even researched online to visualize what the ramp might look like, then tucked the thought away again.

A few weeks ago, a friend of mine came over. I mentioned how much I wanted a ramp for Lizzy, and she said, “Oh, my husband could do that for you! He built ramps for my brother, who is a quadriplegic.” I thought, That’s great! but continued to nurture my idea seed.

When I saw her a couple of weeks later, I asked if her husband was still available to help. She said she’d ask him that night. From that point on, events unfolded in a way I never could have imagined—far beyond any expectations I could’ve had.

Lizzy’s ramp turned into three ramps! Two for the front door, one for the back door—and they were sponsored by our church. The project also became a young men’s mutual activity, teaching them how to build ramps and serve their community.

My heart was so full as I watched them work on the ramps. I kept saying, “Thank you so much!”

There’s incredible power in our thoughts—far more than we realize. I am so thankful for The Jackrabbit Factor and Leslie’s classes. They’ve changed my life—or, rather, I’ve allowed them to change me—and in doing so, my life has changed for the better.

I’m a happier, calmer person now. I had my in-laws over for Thanksgiving and actually had a really good time! I didn’t stress, didn’t play the victim, and didn’t let myself get offended. I just let things be what they were and remained open to the possibility that they could be even better than that.
