I saw this post on Facebook From Stephanie Lee - one of our Mindset Mastery Program Participants, and thought it was profound and worth sharing. First, she quoted Danielle LaPorte:

"When you give yourself credit for making it this far in life—and still being a Gentle Soul—then you’ll know the Truth of Love. When, in a courageously still moment you hear yourself say, 'I have everything I need right now,' then you’ll know the Truth of Faith. And you’ll bring that shine to work with you. And to your causes, and your Loving, and your collaborations with the Universe.

"You will not be fearless, but you will be certain of what matters most.

"You will place your preferences on the altar of your life and say: 'This! THIS is what brings me joy!' And with the heavenly madness of Faith, you will live your Truth with the devotion it deserves." -Danielle LaPorte

Then she added,

I love the part about not being fearless but being certain.

I have experienced this to be true so often and it is the certainty that gives me courage to move forward. Sometimes the certainty is only as tiny as the hunch to move one step left or right. Sometimes it doesn't seem certain in the moment but rather just the next nudge I am given to act.

The overarching certainty that I am responsible for cultivating is that I AM being guided, that God is interested in and orchestrating all the elements needed for me to have a joy-filled life.

Thanks to Leslie, I now understand the power of the tiny certainties as essential elements of a genius + guided path.

Secondly, how beautiful is it to reframe what we "want" (and often don't dare ask for, or doubt if it's "right" to ask for) as what brings us joy?! I love that.

I love declaring what brings me joy, even in advance, and collaborating with God in experiencing more of that joy...AND allowing Him to bring me surprising new ways to feel joy that I may not have known about before...

Man is that he might have joy.

God said so.
