Be in the Prosperity Flow

You’ve probably heard the phrase, “What you resist, persists.”

But what does that really mean?

As a child of God, you’re entitled to everything you need for complete mental, physical, and spiritual growth.

As Wallace Wattles said:

"Man's right to life means his right to have the free and unrestricted use of all the things which may be necessary to his fullest mental, spiritual, and physical unfoldment; or, in other words, his right to be rich...

"To be really rich does not mean to be satisfied or contented with a little. No man ought to be satisfied with a little if he is capable of using and enjoying more. The purpose of Nature is the advancement and unfoldment of life; every man should have all that can contribute to the power, elegance, beauty, and richness of life; to be content with less is sinful."

To settle for less than your full potential is to reject the very growth God designed you for.

Gratitude for what we have is essential—but discontent is a divine tool, meant to nudge us toward more. When we resist growth or change, we are resisting the very current of life itself. All living things are naturally impelled to grow. We are meant to expand. And when we fight it, we begin the slow process of decay.

Nature is not your enemy—it’s on your side. It expects you to grow. It will support you in becoming more. So if life feels hard or like it’s holding you back, chances are, you’re simply out of alignment with the natural flow.

When you stress about not having enough—especially money—you create resistance. What you need will show up when you need it, as long as you’re moving in the direction of your goal. If there’s still something you can do without more resources, then you’re not stuck. Keep going.

In this very moment, you have everything you need. Be grateful for that. If next week’s bill isn’t due yet, then stop giving energy to what you lack. It’s not next week yet. Instead, create space for the solution. Set up the buckets, so when the rain falls, you’re ready to catch it. Do what you can do—right now.

How do you know what to do next?

Decide what you want. See it clearly. Feel it as if it’s already yours. Ask God for it. Thank Him for it.

Then go live your life—and listen. Inspiration will come. Sometimes as simple as “call John,” or as odd as “pick up that piece of trash.” Maybe it’s “wear your blue shirt” or “invest your vacation money in your education.”

When you’ve clearly pictured the outcome and felt it as already real, you can trust you’ll be guided step-by-step to the resources you need. One inspired idea at a time. One step at a time.

When you give more attention to your vision than to your current limitations, you plug into the current of prosperity. You catch the jet stream—and it starts to carry you faster and easier than you imagined. The hardest part? Trusting the flow is real.

But learning to trust God—and His guidance for your life—is the most rewarding work you’ll ever do. Trust Him, and He’ll lift you beyond what you could ever accomplish alone. You’ll shine. You’ll lift others. You’ll become a vessel for something far bigger than you. And wherever there’s flow, there’s growth.

I love this section from Richard Bach’s Illusions:

Once there lived a village of creatures along the bottom of a great crystal river.

The current of the river swept silently over them all - young and old, rich and poor, good and evil, the current going it's own way, knowing only it's own crystal self.

Each creature in it's own manner clung tightly to the twigs and rocks of the river bottom, for clinging was their way of life, and resisting the current what each had learned from birth.

But one creature said at last, 'I am tired of clinging. Though I cannot see it with my eyes, I trust that the current knows where it is going. I shall let go and let it take me where it will. Clinging, I shall die of boredom.’

The other creatures laughed and said, 'Fool! Let go, and that current you worship will throw you tumbled and smashed against the rocks, and you will die quicker than boredom!'

But the one heeded them not, and taking a breath did let go, and at once was tumbled and smashed by the current across the rocks.

Yet in time, as the creature refused to cling again, the current lifted him free from the bottom, and he was bruised and hurt no more.

And the creatures downstream, to whom he was a stranger, cried

'See a miracle! A creature like ourselves, yet he flies!’

If you want to be free, you have to trust the flow. Don’t resist the challenges or hardships God places in your path—they carry the very key to your freedom. Embrace them. Face them. Focus on the success that lies on the other side.

And if your money is to grow, it needs to flow.

Let it move through you, and you’ll begin living in harmony with the laws of prosperity. Money is meant to circulate—it's called currency for a reason! (A golden tip from one of our mentors—thank you, Ken!)

Exchange money for things of greater value, and your wealth will naturally increase. It may feel counterintuitive, but investment is essential. Invest in yourself. Think long-term. Build mental endurance and make intentional sacrifices—because a real sacrifice means giving something up for something even greater.

So ask yourself: what can you do with that $50 (or $500) that would position you to receive more than you spent? If you can borrow money at 2% and earn 10%, you’ve just created wealth—not only for yourself but for others involved as well. As money flows, wealth grows.

(But be wise. If you’re spending borrowed money on things that don’t generate income, you’re playing for the wrong team in the wealth-building game. Let money flow, yes—but choose its direction carefully.)

Investing in education increases your ability to earn. Investing in your business increases its capacity to produce income. Over time, your money starts working for you—even while you sleep. That’s what buys you the freedom to focus on what really matters, the things you’ve had to set aside in times of financial stress.

So, get crystal clear on the life you want. Set your intention. Focus your energy on achieving it.

You already have everything you need to take the next step. Just like the Apollo 13 crew—facing catastrophe with only a pile of odds and ends—they still had everything required to return safely home. You do too.

Keep your thoughts aligned, and you’ll be able to arrange what you already have at your fingertips in a way that carries you exactly where you want to go.
